Two men were removed from Game 4 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday for interfering with a catch, resulting in a ban from attending Game 5.

According to the New York Post, the fans were identified as Austin Capobianco and John Peter and will receive a refund for their tickets.

During the second inning, Dodgers' right fielder Mookie Betts chased down a ball hit by the Yankees' Gleyber Torres. As Betts had the ball in his glove, a man in a gray Yankees jersey attempted to take the ball from him.

Capobianco, a Yankees season-ticket holder, grabbed onto Betts' glove and pried it open, causing the ball to pop out. His friend, Peter, held onto Betts' right hand.

Despite the interference, Torres was still called out.

The Yankees released a statement condemning the fans' "egregious and unacceptable physical contact" with Betts and stating that they will not be allowed to attend the next game.

Capobianco, who has seats close to the field, admitted that he has considered trying to help his team from his front-row spot.

"We always joke about the ball in our area," Capobianco told ESPN. "We're not going to go out of our way to attack. If it's in our area, we're going to defend it. We talk about it and we're willing to do this."

The Yankees avoided elimination with an 11-4 win, but the Dodgers still hold a 3-1 series lead going into Game 5 on Wednesday night in New York.
