Qualifying for the World Series has seemingly become routine for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

After defeating the New York Mets 10-5 in Game 6 of the National League Championship Series on Sunday night, the Dodgers secured their spot in the Fall Classic for the fourth time in the past eight years.

Despite only winning one title during this dominant stretch, sportsbooks are still favoring the Dodgers as they prepare to face the Yankees, who have not been in the World Series since 2009.

BetMGM has Los Angeles as a -135 favorite to win it all, with FanDuel (-128) and DraftKings (-120) also predicting that the Yankees will have to wait a bit longer for their 28th championship.

Fans can expect a competitive series, as all three sportsbooks have set the over/under for games played at 5.5 with odds of -200. DraftKings and FanDuel have odds of +190 for a Game 7, while BetMGM has over 6.5 games being played at +200.

The Yankees will be looking to avoid the same fate as their crosstown rivals, the Mets, after breezing past the Guardians in the American League Championship Series. Although Cleveland kept each game close, New York ultimately won the series 4-1.

Game 1 of the Fall Classic is scheduled for Friday in Los Angeles.

BetMGM, FanDuel, and DraftKings all have the Yankees favored to cover their +1.5 spread, with odds of -225, -205, and -192, respectively. However, the Dodgers are the favorites on the moneyline, with odds of -135 at BetMGM and DraftKings, and -130 at FanDuel.
