Detroit Tigers catcher Jake Rogers stated that X-rays on his left wrist showed no signs of injury after being hit with multiple foul balls just above his glove during Thursday's Game 4 defeat against the Cleveland Guardians.

The 29-year-old Rogers informed the media on Friday that his hand is still tender, but he anticipates being able to participate in Saturday's decisive game of the American League Division Series.

\"It's feeling better than I expected,\" Rogers shared. \"So, I'm ready to play.\"

In four games against Cleveland, Rogers has a record of 2-for-10 with one double, two runs, three walks, and five strikeouts.

During the regular season, he had a batting average of .197 with 10 home runs and 36 RBIs in 102 games.
