Postponement of Marlins-Braves Match, New Date Set for August 9th
The Sunday afternoon matchup between the Miami Marlins and Atlanta Braves in the MLB has been called off due to unfavorable weather conditions in the Atlanta region.
The game has been rescheduled for August 9th, and will now be a part of a split doubleheader, resulting in a five-game series between the two teams.
The two National League East rivals have split the first two games of their current series. Atlanta dominated with a 10-0 win on Friday, while Miami bounced back with a 4-0 victory on Saturday.
The Braves will resume play on Tuesday as they face off against the Philadelphia Phillies in a three-game series at home.
Meanwhile, the Marlins will travel to New York on Monday to take on the Mets in a three-game series.
