The critical Game 5 of the ALDS between the Detroit Tigers and the Cleveland Guardians has been rescheduled to 1:08 p.m. ET on Saturday due to a prediction of severe weather, as announced by Major League Baseball on Friday.

Originally set for 8:08 p.m., the game will now be broadcasted on TBS and Max.

Cleveland managed to force a fifth game in the series by defeating the Tigers 5-4 on Thursday.

The Tigers have designated left-hander Tarik Skubal (18-4, 2.39 regular season) as their starting pitcher. Skubal has a record of 1-0 in two postseason starts, with a 0.00 ERA, seven hits, one walk, and 14 strikeouts in 13 innings. He led the Tigers to a 3-0 victory over the Guardians in Game 2 on Monday and also secured a win against the Houston Astros in the wild-card round.

The Guardians have yet to announce their starting pitcher.

The winner of this game will face the New York Yankees in the AL Championship Series, which is set to begin on Monday at Yankee Stadium.
