Seahawks' Dareke Young: Out for Sunday
Young (hamstring) won't play in Sunday's matchup against the 49ers, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Young downgraded from limited practice participation Wednesday to a DNP on Thursday, making it no surprise he'll miss Sunday's divisional contest. The fourth-year wideout played almost exclusively on special teams last season (228 special teams snaps), failing to catch his only target across 14 appearances. With Young and Jake Bobo (concussion) sidelined in Week 1, Cody White is expected to play as the Seahawks' No. 4 wideout.

Seahawks' Uchenna Nwosu: Missing Week 1
Nwosu (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's contest against the 49ers, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Nwosu opened the Seahawks' week of practice with consecutive limited sessions, but it now appears his knee injury will sideline him in Week 1. The veteran edge rusher has struggled with injuries over the past two seasons, missing 22 of Seattle's 34 regular-season contests. His next opportunity to take the field will come in Week 2, when the Seahawks visit the Steelers.

Seahawks' Cody White: Ready for Sunday
White (shoulder) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the 49ers, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Despite White opening Seattle's week of practice with consecutive limited sessions, he'll suit up for the team's regular-season opener Sunday. The Michigan State product appeared in four games with the Seahawks last season, catching two of his three targets for 44 yards while also contributing on special teams (49 snaps). White is expected to play a similar role ahead of the 2025 season.

Seahawks' Riq Woolen: Past illness
Woolen (illness) carries no injury designation into Sunday's game against the 49ers, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
After popping up on Seattle's injury report as a non-participant in Thursday's practice due to an illness, Woolen appears ready to play in Sunday's divisional matchup. The fourth-year corner appeared in 15 games for the Seahawks in 2024, recording 46 total tackles, 14 passes defended, including three interceptions, and one forced fumble. He's expected to start alongside Devon Witherspoon and Josh Jobe in Week 1.

Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Doesn't clear protocol for Week 1
Bobo (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Head coach Mike Macdonald said Friday that Bobo is progressing through the concussion protocol but still has a couple hurdles left to clear, per Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle. Bobo's next chance to play will come in Week 2 against the Steelers. Once healthy, Bobo figures to fill a depth role in Seattle's receiving corps while contributing on special teams.

Seahawks' Anthony Bradford: Ready to rock
Bradford (back) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the 49ers, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Bradford didn't participate in Thursday's practice due to a back injury, but it now appears he's moved past the issue in time to play in Week 1's divisional contest. Expect the 2023 fourth-round pick to start at right guard in Seattle on Sunday.

Seahawks' Anthony Bradford: Misses practice Thursday
Bradford (back) did not participate at the Seahawks' practice Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Bradford was a full participant at practice to open the week Wednesday, but he popped up on the injury report Thursday with a back issue. It's unclear what the severity of the injury is, and he will look to return to practice Friday. If Bradford is unavailable for Sunday's regular-season opener against the 49ers, Bryce Cabeldue is a candidate to start at right guard in his place.

Seahawks' Riq Woolen: Under the weather
Woolen did not participate in Thursday's practice due to an illness, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Woolen didn't appear on Wednesday's injury report, indicating that he recently came under the weather. The severity of his illness isn't clear, but Friday's practice report will provide clarity on his status for Week 1 against the 49ers on Sunday. If Woolen is unable to play, Derion Kendrick, Devon Witherspoon and Nehemiah Pritchett would be the top candidates to start at outside corner opposite Josh Jobe.

Seahawks' Dareke Young: Downgrades to DNP
Young (hamstring) did not participate in Thursday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Young opened the week as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, so his DNP is a trend in the wrong direction. He would need to return to practice in at least a limited capacity Friday to have a chance at playing in Sunday's regular-season opener against the 49ers. Young is slated to start the season in a depth role at wide receiver, but he would be in line to see an uptick in offensive snaps in Week 1 if Jake Bobo (concussion) is not cleared to play.

Seahawks' Abraham Lucas: Nabs extension from Seattle
Lucas and the Seahawks agreed Thursday on a three-year, $46 million contract extension, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
A 2022 third-round draft pick, Lucas had been scheduled for free agency this spring, but the extension will keep him on the Seahawks' books through 2028. Lucas emerged as the Seahawks' top right tackle coming out of his first training camp and started in 16 games as a rookie, but he was limited to just 13 appearances between 2023 and 2024, primarily due to a pair of knee surgeries. He missed the Seahawks' Week 18 win over the Rams last season due to an abdominal injury, but he enjoyed a normal offseason and looks to be back to full health entering the 2025 campaign.
