Rams' Ahkello Witherspoon: Good to go vs. Texans
Witherspoon (knee) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game versus Houston, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Witherspoon popped up on the Rams' injury report with a knee issue Thursday, but it was apparently minor and won't stop him from suiting up in Week 1. With Christian Kirk ruled out for Sunday with a hamstring issue, Witherspoon figures to be lining up mostly against Nico Collins and Jayden Higgins when he's on the field.

Rams' Ahkello Witherspoon: Nursing knee injury
Witherspoon did not participate in Thursday's practice due to a knee injury, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Witherspoon may have picked up the injury during Wednesday's practice session. The severity of the injury isn't clear, but his practice participation Friday will provide clarity on his chances of playing in Sunday's regular-season opener against the Texans in Los Angeles. Cobie Durant, Josh Wallace and Emmanuel Forbes would be the top candidates to start at outside corner opposite Darious Williams if Witherspoon is not cleared to play in Week 1.

Rams' Alaric Jackson: Full practice Wednesday
Jackson (tailbone/blood clots) was a full participant at the Rams' practice Wednesday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Jackson has been working his way back from both a tailbone injury and blood clots, the latter of which he was diagnosed with in June. The offensive lineman now appears to be on track to start at left tackle in Sunday's regular-season opener against the Texans.

Rams' Josaiah Stewart: Out of concussion protocol
Stewart (concussion) was a full participant at practice Wednesday, Greg Beacham of the Associated Press reports.
Stewart entered the league's concussion protocol late in training camp, but he'll be in playing shape for Week 1. The rookie third-rounder projects to play a rotational role on the edge behind Jared Verse and Byron Young in 2025.

Rams' Nate Landman: No longer bothered by calf
Landman (calf) was not listed on the Rams' injury report Wednesday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
The calf issue that Landman was nursing during training camp was never believed to be serious, and as expected, it doesn't seem like it's going to hold him out in Week 1. He figures to start at one of the Rams' inside linebacker spots Sunday versus the Texans.
