Packers' Barryn Sorrell: Questionable to play Week 1
Sorrell (knee) was a limited participant in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions, Wes Hodklewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
The rookie fourth-rounder has been limited in practice all week while tending to a left knee injury. Sorrell is expected to serve in a rotational role at defensive end and could see additional work on defense if the Packers elect to limit Micah Parsons' (back) snap count.

Packers' Micah Parsons: Officially questionable for Sunday
Parsons (back) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Lions, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Parsons has yet to practice in full since joining the Packers on Aug. 28., but he did manage three consecutive limited sessions this week, keeping him in play for Sunday's divisional contest. Despite his questionable designation, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Thursday that the All-Pro edge rusher is expected to suit up Week 1. If Parsons can play through his back issue, he'll likely line up opposite Rashan Gary to form one of the NFL's scariest pass-rush tandems. Should Parsons be sidelined, though, Lukas Van Ness and Kingsley Enagbare would likely see increased first-team defensive work.

Packers' Nate Hobbs: Could play in Week 1
Hobbs (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Lions, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Hobbs upgraded from a DNP at Wednesday's practice to limited sessions Thursday and Friday, so it appears he's trending in the right direction ahead of Green Bay's regular-season opener. The first-year Packer appeared in 11 games for the Raiders in 2024, recording 49 total tackles and five passes defended, including one interception. If Hobbs can suit up Sunday, he's expected to start opposite Keisean Nixon, serving as part of the Packers' top outside cornerback duo.

Packers' Elgton Jenkins: Suiting up Sunday
Jenkins (hip) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Lions, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Despite a week of limited practice sessions due to a hip issue, Jenkins carries no injury designation into the Packers' regular-season opener Sunday. The two-time Pro Bowl guard is now expected to open the season as Green Bay's starting center.

Packers' Zayne Anderson: Could play in Week 1
Anderson (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Lions, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Anderson was limited throughout the week in practice due to a knee injury sustained in early August. The BYU product was a key contributor on special teams in 2024, tallying 16 total tackles over 371 total snaps (118 defensive and 253 on special teams). If he's unable to play in Week 1, Kitan Oladapo will likely play as Green Bay's lone reserve safety.

Packers' Savion Williams: Questionable for potential debut
Williams (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions.
William was listed as a limited participant all week and is one of three Green Bay wideouts with a questionable designation for Sunday. The rookie could get some snaps if he's active while Jayden Reed (calf) and Dontayvion Wicks (calf) are inactive, but Williams would still presumably be looking at a part-time role with minimal fantasy intrigue. A rookie third-round pick, Williams is noted for his work with the ball in his hands more so than his skill as a pass catcher.

Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Questionable for Week 1
Wicks (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions.
Listed as a limited participant all week, Wicks is one of three Packers wideouts with a questionable designation, joining Jayden Reed (foot) and Savion Williams (hamstring). Wicks could have a sizable role come Sunday if he's active and Reed isn't, but Matthew Golden and Romeo Doubs still would be the much safer bets to pile up snaps/routes/targets for Green Bay. Kickoff is schedule for 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Packers' Jayden Reed: Listed as questionable
Reed (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions.
Fellow Packers wideouts Dontayvion Wicks (calf) and Savion Williams (hamstring) also are listed as questionable, with the latter uncertain to have a role even if he's healthy enough to play. Reed, meanwhile, is hoping to fill his usual role as Green Bay's slot receiver, playing through a Jones fracture that may require surgery at some point. He was a limited practice participant Thursday and Friday, after opening the week listed as a non-participant. It's unclear if Reed will get the go-ahead from Green Bay's medical staff, potentially setting up a game-time decision in advance of the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff this Sunday.
