Hawks' Dwight Murray: Inks training-camp deal
The Hawks signed Murray to a training-camp contract Wednesday, The Spot Up Shot reports.
The 25-year-old guard will try to prove his worth in training camp and throughout the preseason in hopes of making an NBA roster for the first time. He played for the College Park Skyhawks in the G League during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 8.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.9 assists across 23.4 minutes per game while shooting 39.2 percent from the floor and 31.5 percent from beyond the arc.

Hawks' Javan Johnson: With Atlanta for training camp
The Hawks signed Johnson to an Exhibit 10 contract Wednesday, Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot reports.
Johnson will join Atlanta for training camp, averaging 16.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in the G League last season on 44/40/90 shooting. The 26-year-old will face an uphill battle to make the Hawks roster.

Dante's (ankle) contract with the Hawks became official on Tuesday.
The Hawks signed Dante to a two-year, $4.5 million offer sheet back on Saturday, and the Rockets declined to match the deal. He's unlikely to crack the rotation early on in Atlanta, and he could see the bulk of his minutes in the G League.

The Hawks signed Dante to a two-year, $4.5 million offer sheet, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Dante has agreed to an unprecedented deal, signing an offer sheet as a two-way restricted free agent. He played four regular-season games with Houston during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 6.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 76.9 percent from the field.
