Postponed Nationals-Rockies Match; Doubleheader Scheduled for Sunday
The game between the Washington Nationals and the Colorado Rockies on Friday has been called off due to bad weather in the Denver region.
The match has been rescheduled and will now be played as a split-doubleheader on Sunday.
The Rockies, under the guidance of a new hitting coach, will try to end their six-game losing streak when they face the Nationals in a three-game series starting on Saturday.
Hensley Meulens was dismissed on Thursday and former manager Clint Hurdle has taken over as the Rockies' hitting coach.
The Nationals have suffered six defeats in their last eight games.
